NextGen Mental Health Tasmania offers specialised Mental Health First Aid training focused on young people aged 12-24.

Skills gained in Mental Health First Aid help you to better understand and support young people who are experiencing mental health problems. Courses are evidenced-based and provide you with knowledge about common mental illness in young people, and the skills and confidence you need to help them.

About Maree

Maree Gerke is a highly skilled facilitator and teacher with over 25 years experience training people in the workplace, schools and in tertiary education settings. She is known for creating sessions that are inclusive, engaging, and fun! Through accredited, evidence-based courses, Maree aims to equip individuals with the tools and confidence needed to support the mental health and well-being of young people.
